Standard Rates

For those who prefer a straightforward option, my standard rates are:

  • Somatic Experiencing and Craniosacral Unwinding: $165

  • Acupuncture (new patient): $180

  • Acupuncture (return visit): $110

Most clients choose these rates, and you are welcome to do the same.

Anti-Oppression Sliding Scale

I care deeply about making this work available to people across a wide range of circumstances, while also tending to the needs of my family and honoring my own capacity. For this reason, I offer a sliding scale, rooted in the values of equity and reciprocity. Those with greater access to resources are invited to contribute more, and those with fewer resources are invited to contribute less. My hope is that, together, this creates balance and helps ensure that care remains accessible across diverse communities.

There is no “right” or “wrong” choice here. This is a self-determined process, and I trust you to know your reality best.

Choosing Your Rate

Healing work is a shared exchange. It calls forth something from both practitioner and client, and it offers something to both. Together, each brings presence, courage, and commitment. The client contributes their lived experience, openness, and a financial contribution that reflects their circumstances. The practitioner contributes training, skill, and a supportive container for the work.

Deciding how much to pay for healing work can sometimes feel challenging. To support your reflection, I’ve included a list of optional guiding questions. They are not a test and will never be checked — simply an invitation to consider your resources. If you don’t find the guiding questions helpful, or find the process of self-selecting your rate to be confronting or otherwise uncomfortable, feel free to opt out of this process, knowing that the standard rate (Mostly Yes), which is what most clients choose, will be automatically applied.

Guiding Questions

  • Are you able-bodied?

  • Do you experience housing security?

  • Do you have income beyond disability or social security?

  • Can you easily access and afford health insurance?

  • Do you have little or no debt, or the ability to pay it down comfortably?

  • Are you or your family homeowners/landowners? (Excluding Native/Indigenous clients.)

  • Do you have U.S. citizenship?

  • Do you work part-time (or not work) by choice, rather than necessity?

  • Does your income support only you, rather than dependents or extended family?

  • Did you experience financial abundance in childhood?

  • Do you have family/friends who can reliably support you financially if needed?

  • Do you have residual, gifted, or passive income?

  • Do you own investments, real estate, or other income-generating assets?

  • Have you received, or do you expect to receive, inheritance?

  • Do you have higher earning potential due to education, race, class, or gender privilege?

  • Have you attended college, graduate school, or private institutions?

  • Do you have an advanced degree, particularly one obtained without loans?

  • Do you have income that allows you to vacation and spend freely on non-essentials?

Below are the suggested rates for each service based on the answers you gave in the guiding questions.

  • Somatic Experiencing & Craniosacral: $200

  • Initial Acupuncture: $225

  • Follow-Up Acupuncture: $130

Mostly Yes (Default)

  • Somatic Experiencing & Craniosacral: $165

  • Initial Acupuncture: $180

  • Follow-Up Acupuncture: $110

Equal Yes & No

  • Somatic Experiencing & Craniosacral: $125

  • Initial Acupuncture: $150

  • Follow-Up Acupuncture: $75

All/Mostly No

  • Somatic Experiencing & Craniosacral: $75

  • Initial Acupuncture: $100

  • Follow-Up Acupuncture: $40

These questions are a guide, not a prescription. They cannot fully determine what is most appropriate, and you are welcome to choose a rate that feels most aligned with your circumstances. During the booking process, you will be asked to specify which of the above rates you have chosen. After our first meeting, I will create a code that you may input for future bookings so that your personal rate will be applied. If you would like to select a rate that is lower than the lowest specified, please reach out to me before booking to ensure that I have the capacity to honor that rate.

Cancellations & No-Shows

To respect the time and energy involved for both of us, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be charged the full session fee.

If you develop symptoms of illness within 24 hours of your appointment and need to cancel, no fee will be assessed.

If you would like to work together, I invite you to share a few words about where you are on your healing path. I read every inquiry with care and will respond during my practice hours (Mon–Wed).
